Improving Social Housing Revitalizes Communities
Labrador Seniors Complex to Receive New Roofing
Bluebird Investments Ltd. has been awarded a $97,000 contract to replace roofing at 12 units in the Labrador Straits Seniors Complex in Forteau.
"Ensuring we have quality, affordable housing for seniors, families and individuals with low incomes is a priority for Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation. This work demonstrates government's commitment to upgrading our social housing properties throughout the province."

The work is expected to be completed in August 2015.

QUICK FACTS
- Newfoundland and Labrador Housing is investing $97,000 to replace roofing at 12 units in the Labrador Straits Seniors Complex in Forteau.
- Since 2007, 77 per cent of NLHC's rental units have received modernization and improvement that will extend the life of the properties.
