I had an opportunity over the past few days to see some of our young athletes perform with great energy, enthusiasm and sportsmanship in Prince George. They are all representing our province extremely well. To earn a medal at any national competition is a tremendous achievement, and I congratulate Margaret and Emily on their silver medal performance. I am sure they will remember this moment and their Canada Games experience for many years to come.

Margaret Coady, 16, and Emily Keeping, 15, have both been shooting for two years with the Newfoundland and Labrador Shooting Association.
