Investing in Social Housing, Investing in Families
Revitalization Continues in Brophy Place Neighbourhood
Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation has awarded a $269,000 contract to Bursey Cleaners (2010) Ltd., to provide exterior retrofits to 10 social housing units in a building on Brophy Place in St. John's.

The renovations and upgrades will include siding, window, door and roofing replacements, as well as the installation of new insulation. The project also includes some small plumbing, electrical and ventilation upgrades. The anticipated completion date for this project is September 2015.
In 2014-15, Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation is investing $10 million to renovate another 450 social housing homes throughout the province.
