Investments Improve Quality of Social Housing

$167,000 Contract Supports Further Renovations to NL Housing Units

Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation has awarded a $167,000 contract to TSG Contracting Ltd., for the renovation of three social housing homes on Whiteway Street and Hoyles Avenue in St. John's.

The renovations and upgrades will include siding, window, door and roofing replacements, as well as electrical and ventilation system upgrades. The anticipated completion date for this project is February 2015.

In 2014-15, Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation is investing $10 million to renovate another 450 social housing homes throughout the province.
