Investing in Upgrades to Social Housing
Renovations Improve Wallace Place Homes in St. John's
Renovations have been completed on three social housing homes on Wallace Place in St. John's, as the result of a $186,000 contract awarded to TSG Contracting Ltd. this past fall. The work included siding, window, door and roofing replacements, as well as electrical and ventilation system upgrades.

These modernizations and upgrades help enhance the sustainability of our social housing stock, ensuring these homes will be in good shape to meet future housing needs."

In 2014-15, Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation is investing $10 million to renovate 450 social housing units throughout the province.
