Provincial Government Invests Over $110,000 in Bauline Town Hall and Community Centre
The Provincial Government continues to support the development of infrastructure to benefit the residents of Newfoundland and Labrador. The Town of Bauline will receive an investment of over $110,000 cost-shared with the Provincial Government, to complete work on the new Bauline town hall and community centre.
"Town halls and community centres are vital hubs for residents in our province. They provide a space for democracy, local events and activities which builds community. This additional funding will allow for the finalization of the project by the scheduled July 2015 completion date. "

In total, approximately $2 million has been invested, cost-shared between the Provincial Government and the Town of Bauline for the new town hall and community centre.

The town hall and community centre is approximately 80 per cent completed and includes energy efficiency elements.

Since 2008, the Provincial Government has invested over $800 million in more than 1,200 water, wastewater, recreational and municipal infrastructure projects.
