Media Advisory: Minister to Participate in Sod Turning Ceremony for New RCMP Detachment

The Honourable Darin King, Minister of Justice and Public Safety, will participate in a sod turning ceremony for a new Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) detachment in Twillingate tomorrow (Wednesday, July 22). The event begins at 11:00 a.m. near the war memorial on Hospital Lane across from the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre.

Minister King will be joined at the event by the Honourable Derick Dalley, MHA for The Isles of Notre Dame, as well as representatives of the RCMP.
