Media Advisory: Minister to Participate in Roundtable on National Pharmacare

The Honourable Steve Kent, Deputy Premier and Minister of Health and Community Services, will participate in a Minister’s Roundtable on National Pharmacare Monday, June 8, at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel, Toronto. The meetings will take place in the Provincial North Room from 11:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (NL time).

The Minister’s Roundtable on National Pharmacare was organized by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care as an opportunity to:

• Establish an understanding of the key elements of a national pharmacare program that provides equitable access for all;
• Examine and develop policy considerations and impacts such as patient choice, investment return cycle, and other sector impacts; and
• Advance dialogue on a national pharmacare program.
