Media Advisory: Event in Stephenville to Celebrate Katarina Roxon’s Success

The Honourable Vaughn Granter, Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture, and Tony Cornect, MHA for Port au Port, will join residents of western Newfoundland, to welcome home Parapan Am swimmer Katarina Roxon of Kippens tonight (Monday, August 17).

Ms. Roxon won one gold, three silver and two bronze medals at the 2015 Parapan Am Games, held August 7-15 in Toronto.

The event will take place at the YMCA in Stephenville, 5-11 Provincial Street, beginning at 7:00 p.m.
