Media Advisory: Minister to Make Aquaculture Announcement

The Honourable Vaughn Granter, Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture, will provide details of Budget 2015 investments in oceanographic research to support sustainable management practices and future expansion of the province’s aquaculture industry tomorrow (Wednesday, July 29). The event is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. at the Marine Institute’s Holyrood Marine Base in Holyrood.

Minister Granter will be joined by Dr. Robert Shea, Associate Vice President (Marine Institute), Academic and Student Affairs and Mr. Mark Lane, Executive Director, Newfoundland Aquaculture Industry Association.
