Media Advisory: Premier and Minister to Provide Mid-Year Financial Update
The Honourable Dwight Ball, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, and the Honourable Cathy Bennett, Minister of Finance and President of Treasury Board, will provide the 2015-16 Fall Fiscal and Economic Update for the province tomorrow (Tuesday, December 22). The news conference will take place at 2:00 p.m. in the Media Centre, Ground Floor, East Block, Confederation Building.
Prior to the news conference, a lock-in will be held for media representatives beginning at 1:30 p.m. in the Media Centre. During the lock-in, attendees will be provided with advance copies of the 2015-16 Fall Fiscal and Economic Update documents and representatives from the Department of Finance will be available to answer questions on the information provided.
Media representatives are reminded that wireless communications devices, such as mobile phones and BlackBerrys, cannot be used during the briefing. Those in the briefing will be required to disable built-in wireless capability on all portable devices.
