The following is a statement from the Honourable Paul Davis, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador:

Premier Offers Condolences Following Paris Attacks

“I share with my fellow Newfoundlanders and Labradorians shock and sadness at the horrific events which unfolded in Paris, France yesterday. Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of France and the families and friends of those affected as they face tragedy and grief at a level that should never exist in this world.

“I offer condolences on behalf of the Provincial Government and all residents of Newfoundland and Labrador.”

Flags at Confederation Building have been lowered, out of respect for all who lost their lives ‎during the attacks.
