Media Advisory: Premier and Minister to Officially Name Peacekeepers Way

The Honourable Paul Davis, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, and the Honourable David Brazil, Minister of Transportation and Works, will join peacekeeping veterans tomorrow (Thursday, October 29) to officially name CBS Bypass Peacekeepers Way. The event will take place at the Royal Canadian Legion, 60 Legion Road, Conception Bay South at 1:00 p.m.

In partnership with the Newfoundland Chapter of the Canadian Peacekeeping Veterans, the Provincial Government announced this past August that the CBS Bypass would be named Peacekeepers Way in recognition of the contribution of Canadian peacekeepers who have participated in dozens of international efforts in countries around the world.
