Media Advisory: Premier to Launch New Violence Prevention Initiative

The Honourable Paul Davis, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will be joined by the Honourable Susan Sullivan, Minister Responsible for the Status of Women, as they launch the second phase of the Provincial Government Violence Prevention Initiative tomorrow (Tuesday, October 6).

The launch will take place at 10:00 a.m. at the E.B. Foran Room, St. John’s City Hall.

The Violence Prevention Initiative is a multi-departmental, Provincial Government-community partnership to find long-term solutions to the problem of violence against those most at risk in our society.
