Media Advisory: Premier to Attend Launch of Kids Eat Smart Week
The Honourable Paul Davis, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will attend the launch of Kids Eat Smart Week on Monday, October 5, at St. Andrew's Elementary School, 141 University Avenue, St. John's. The event begins at 9:45 a.m.
Premier Davis will be joined by the Honourable Clyde Jackman, Minister of Seniors, Wellness and Social Development.
The Provincial Government provides over $1 million annually to support Kids Eat Smart healthy meal programs at 217 schools and 24 community centres throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.
