Premier Seeks Responses from Federal Party Leaders on Issues of Importance to the People of Newfoundland and Labrador

The Honourable Paul Davis, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, has sent letters to the four federal party leaders seeking their position on issues of importance to the people of the province.

“We have heard from federal party leaders on some of the issues of importance to Newfoundland and Labrador, including when two of them recently visited our province. But we want to ensure federal party leaders are aware of the full range of important issues, and make their positions known so the people of the province can make an informed choice when they go to the polls on October 19.”
- The Honourable Paul Davis, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador

Premier Davis’ letters posed questions to the federal party leaders on important matters such as: the fishery, trade, environment, temporary foreign workers, Marine Atlantic, search and rescue, 5 Wing Goose Bay, and federal presence.
