Media Advisory: Premier and Ministers to Tour New High School in St. John's

The Honourable Paul Davis, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will be joined by the Honourable David Brazil, Minister of Transportation and Works, the Honourable Susan Sullivan, Minister of Education and Early Childhood Development, and the Honourable Dan Crummell, Minister of Environment and Conservation and MHA of St. John's West, for a tour of the new Waterford Valley High School located on Topsail Road. The tour will take place today (Thursday, September 3) at 2:00 p.m.

Darrin Pike, CEO/Director of Education, and representatives of the Newfoundland and Labrador English School Board will also be in attendance.

Waterford Valley High School, a $39.5 million project to replace Booth Memorial High School and Bishops College in the west end of St. John's, will open for classes next week.
