Media Advisory: Premier to Present New Veterans Licence Plates

The Honourable Paul Davis, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will present the new version of the provincial veterans licence plate tomorrow (Friday, August 7) at 10:30 a.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion War Memorial in Logy Bay-Middle Cove-Outer Cove. Premier Davis will be joined by the Honourable Dan Crummell, Minister of Service NL, Royal Canadian Legion Provincial Command President Comrade Ross Petten and First Vice-President of the Provincial Command Frank Sullivan.

Working in partnership with the Royal Canadian Legion, the Provincial Government introduced the veterans licence plate program in Newfoundland and Labrador in 2003. The program aims to recognize the valuable service of military veterans.
