Public Advisory: Desjardins Financial Security Office in Corner Brook Closing June 30

The Provincial Government has been informed by Desjardins Financial Security, the current insurance provider for the public service, of the early closure of their Corner Brook office. The company has stated that the office will close June 30, 2015.

The Provincial Government is in the process of transitioning from the current insurance provider, Desjardins Financial Security, to Great West Life, which will be the insurance provider for the public service starting September 1, 2015.

Plan members are advised that this will not result in a service interruption as clients can still mail claims or call with any inquiries. Any mail addressed to the Corner Brook office will be forwarded by Canada Post to the company�s office in L�vis, Quebec. Great West Life will be opening an office in Corner Brook. It is anticipated they will have their office operational on September 1.
