Media Advisory: Final Details on Premiers Meeting with National Aboriginal Organization Leaders in Happy Valley-Goose Bay
The Honourable Paul Davis, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will host Canada’s 13 provincial and territorial premiers and National Aboriginal Organization (NAO) leaders in Happy Valley-Goose Bay on July 15.
Media Accreditation
Accredited media representatives who wish to cover the meeting of premiers and NAO Leaders are asked to register by calling Kevin Guest at 709-730-2320 by July 14. Individuals will be screened to ensure they are official media representatives. A government issued ID (driver’s licence, passport, etc.) will be required to gain entry to the scrum area.

Media Centre
A media centre will be located in Conference Room 5 (second level) of the Hotel North Two. This room will be equipped with Internet access and power outlets. To access this room, media should enter Hotel North Two through the main doors and turn right and use either the stairs or elevator to arrive at the media centre.

Meetings between premiers and National Aboriginal Organization leaders, provide an opportunity to discuss important issues concerning Canada’s Aboriginal populations and to strengthen collaboration between jurisdictions.
Note: Rogers cellular/blackberry service is not available in Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
