Media Advisory: Premiers Meet with National Aboriginal Organization Leaders in Happy Valley-Goose Bay
The Honourable Paul Davis, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will host Canada’s 13 provincial and territorial premiers and National Aboriginal Organization Leaders (NAO) in Happy Valley-Goose Bay on July 15.
Accredited media representatives who wish to cover the meeting between premiers and NAOs are asked to register by calling Vanessa Colman-Sadd at 709-729-1495 by July 14. Individuals will be screened to ensure they are official media representatives. A government issued ID (driver’s licence, passport, etc.) will be required to gain entry to the scrum area.
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Hotel North I. Accredited media participants are invited to make reservations directly at the Hotel North I by dialing 1-877-996-8301 and are asked to identify that they are part of the booking under Labrador and Aboriginal Affair” ($150/night). Delegates are responsible for the cost of their accommodations. The deadline for reservations is June 11, 2015.

Meetings between Premiers and National Aboriginal Organization Leaders, provide an opportunity to discuss important issues of Canada’s aboriginal populations and to strengthen collaboration between jurisdictions.
Note: Rogers cellular/blackberry service is not available in Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
