Media Advisory: Premier to Attend Unveiling of New Program for Cancer Patients
The Honourable Paul Davis, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will participate in the unveiling of a unique, new program for cancer patients entitled "Let Hope Ring" tomorrow (Friday, May 8). The event will begin at 9:30 a.m. in the Learning Lounge, third floor, of the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre, 300 Prince Philip Drive, St John's.
Premier Davis will be joined Gary Smith, President and CEO of Newfoundland Power; David Diamond, CEO of Eastern Health; and Susan Collins, Board Member of the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation. "Let Hope Ring" is a new provincial partnership initiative of the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation and Newfoundland Power's The Power of Life Project.
