Media Advisory: Parliamentary Secretary to Speak at Stephen Awards Ceremony

Kevin Pollard, Parliamentary Secretary to the Honourable Steve Kent, Deputy Premier and Minister Responsible for the Office of Public Engagement, will speak at the annual Stephen Awards banquet on Sunday, April 19. The event will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 35 in Stephenville. Mr. Pollard will be joined by Tony Cornect, MHA for Port au Port.

The Stephen Awards are presented annually to recognize community volunteers and athletes. April 12 to 18 is National Volunteer Week in Canada. For a list of events across Newfoundland and Labrador, visit: communitysector.nl.ca/volunteerweekinNL.
