Media Advisory: Premier Davis to Make Announcements in Fogo
The Honourable Paul Davis, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will attend two events in Fogo tomorrow (Friday, March 13).
The Premier will officially name the new Fogo Island-Change Islands ferry during a ceremony beginning at 10:30 a.m. The ceremony will take place at the Anglican Parish Hall, Fogo Island Centre.
Premier Davis will be joined by the Honourable David Brazil, Minister of Transportation and Works; the Honourable Derrick Dalley, Minister of Natural Resources and MHA for The Isles of Notre Dame; representatives from the ferry committees and residents of Fogo Island and Change Islands.
Premier Davis will also make an announcement related to kidney dialysis in the region beginning at 11:45 a.m. at the Fogo Island Health Centre. Minister Dalley and Rosemarie Goodyear, Chief Executive Officer of Central Health, will join the Premier for the announcement.
