Media Advisory: Minister to Bring Greetings at the 2015 MATE ROV International Competition Opening Reception

The Honourable Dan Crummell, Minister of Environment and Conservation, will bring greetings at the opening reception of the 14th International MATE Centre (Marine Advanced Technology Education) remote operated vehicle (ROV) competition.

The event will take place at 7:00 p.m. today (Thursday, June 25) at The Rooms in St. John’s.

The competition is hosting more than 700 young people from around the world and is taking place from June 25 to 27 at the Marine Institute and National Research Centre’s Ocean Coastal and River Engineering facility in St. John’s.
