The Honourable Dan Crummell, Minister of Environment and Conservation, has announced the following events relative to Part 10 Environmental Assessment of the Environmental Protection Act.
PUBLIC CONSULTATION EXTENDED:
Fermeuse Offshore Marine Base (Reg. 1773)
Proponent: Fermeuse Enterprises Ltd.
The Minister of Environment and Conservation and the proponent, Fermeuse Enterprises Ltd., have agreed to extend the review period for this proposal. The deadline for public comment has been extended to January 14, 2015. The minister's decision has been extended to January 23, 2015.
UNDERTAKING RELEASED:
Hughes Brook Agriculture Fruit Orchard (Reg. 1769)
Proponent: Annette George
The project is released subject to the following condition:
- A 50-metre naturally vegetated buffer must be maintained along all waterbodies and wetlands to protect riparian and aquatic species, and their habitat.
