Public Advisory: Christmas Lights Across Canada Celebration Taking Place on December 4

The Provincial Government is inviting the general public to attend the 28th annual Christmas Lights Across Canada celebration. The event will take place on Thursday, December 4, beginning at 6:15 p.m. in the lobby of the Confederation Building, East Block.

Christmas greetings will be delivered by the Honourable Paul Davis, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, and the Honourable David Brazil, Minister of Transportation and Works.

The Hits 99.1 Morning Show hosts, Mitch Colbourne, Brian Bradley and Keliegh Butt, will serve as masters of ceremonies for the event. Entertainment will be provided by the Royal Newfoundland Regiment Band and the Beachy Cove Elementary School Choir. After the Christmas lights have been illuminated, refreshments will be served.
