Media Advisory: Minister to Make Significant Infrastructure Announcement during Heavy Civil Association AGM
Two Cabinet ministers will participate in the Heavy Civil Association of Newfoundland and Labrador Annual General Meeting today (Thursday, January 9) at the Holiday Inn, St. John’s.
The Honourable Nick McGrath, Minister of Transportation and Works, will make a significant transportation infrastructure announcement during the luncheon at 12:00 p.m.
The Honourable Steve Kent, Minister of Municipal and Intergovernmental Affairs, will speak during dinner at 7:30 p.m.
The Heavy Civil Association of Newfoundland and Labrador represents the road construction, water and sewer and heavy construction industries. They work with the Provincial Government, municipal councils, engineering consultants and the general public in the areas of industry standards, tendering and other issues.
