Media Advisory: Minister to Attend Bay St. George Mi’kmaq Powwow

The Honourable Sandy Collins, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Recreation, will attend the 8th annual Bay St. George Mi’kmaq Powwow tomorrow (Saturday, July 12) at 1:00 p.m. The event will take place at the Sacred Grounds in Flat Bay.

During the 2014 powwow, traditional dancers, drummers, spiritual leaders and elders from the Mi'kmag Nation will celebrate their traditions, culture and spiritualism.
