Investment in Recreation Strengthens Families and Communities

Town of Grand Falls-Windsor Receives $15,000 Recreation Grant

The Town of Grand Falls-Windsor has received a $15,000 grant provided by the Provincial Government’s Community Capital Grant Program to purchase new recreational equipment.

“This $15,000 will be used towards the purchase of new soccer nets, fencing and batting aids. With the purchase of this new equipment, the town will be able to offer residents of all ages increased opportunities to become physically active. This government is committed to increasing physical activity for all citizens; therefore we are delighted to see how this program continues to support communities annually.”

The Town of Grand Falls-Windsor is among the many community-based organizations, municipalities, schools, and recreation commissions that have received funding to upgrade their recreation and sport infrastructure through these latest capital grant program investments.
