Province’s Marketing Efforts Continue to Bolster Vibrant Tourism Industry
Province’s Tourism Campaign Wins Three 2013 Adrian Awards
The province’s Find Yourself tourism marketing campaign has won three 2013 Adrian Awards, presented by Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) at an event in New York City earlier this week. The HSMAI 2013 Adrian Awards honour outstanding achievement in advertising, public relations and digital marketing in the travel industry.
The campaign won the following awards: Silver - Find Yourself - TV Campaign; Silver - Conversation - Complete Campaign; and, Bronze - Language Lessons - Multimedia Series.
“With these wins, Newfoundland and Labrador tourism has won 210
international, national and regional advertising and marketing awards for
the Find Yourself tourism campaign. As a government, we are delighted with
the tremendous success this incredible marketing campaign has garnered for
the province. It has become one of the most recognizable advertising
campaigns in the country, and we take great pride in knowing we have firmly
established the Newfoundland and Labrador brand as a premiere tourism
destination.”

Since 2006, Newfoundland and Labrador tourism marketing has won over 40 Adrian Awards from HSMAI, including five Platinum awards. HSMAI is an international organization of sales and marketing professionals representing all segments of hospitality, travel and tourism.
