Seniors Thrive Through Investment in Recreation Programs

Seniors Community Recreation Funding Supports Active Living

The Provincial Government is encouraging recreation committees and organizations province-wide to apply to the Seniors Community Recreation Grant Program. Funding is available to assist with the costs associated with recreational programming for seniors. Applications are now available online.

The Seniors Community Recreation Grant Program is designed to help organizations representing seniors, communities, and recreation committees provide programs and services focused specifically on increasing physical and leisure activity of seniors. The program is application-based and provides up to $2,000 to assist in the delivery of new or existing recreational programming and services.
