Media Advisory: Minister to Attend Gathering of Newfoundland and Labrador Fish Harvesting Safety Association
The Honourable David Brazil, Minister of Service NL, will address members of the Newfoundland and Labrador Fish Harvesting Safety Association tomorrow (Friday, September 26). The event begins at 1:30 p.m. at the Johnson Geo Centre. Minister Brazil will speak at approximately 2:00 p.m.
The Newfoundland and Labrador Fish Harvesting Safety Association aims to increase safety awareness in the Newfoundland and Labrador commercial fishing industry and to reduce occupational injuries, illness and fatalities through education, training and research initiatives. This is the first meeting of the association since the board of directors was appointed in May.
