Public Advisory: Public Forest Management Meeting Planned for Cartwright
The Department of Natural Resources will hold a public meeting in Cartwright to support the development of a five-year operating plan for Forest Management District 20 in Labrador. The meeting will take place on Thursday, July 10, at 2:00 p.m. at the District Forestry Office located at Airport Road.
Five-year operating plans are developed in consultation with individuals and organizations interested in, or affected by, forest management activities in this area. The intention of the meeting is to discuss forestry issues, conservation, and an approach to sustainable forest management.
