Media Advisory: Minister to Open Oil and Gas Week 2014

The Honourable Derrick Dalley, Minister of Natural Resources, will participate in the official launch and opening reception of Oil and Gas Week on Monday, February 24. The event takes place at 11:00 a.m. in the third floor atrium of the Alexander Murray Building at Memorial University in St. John’s.
 
Oil and Gas Week is a partnership initiative between the Newfoundland and Labrador Oil and Gas Industries Association, the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers, three levels of government and the academic community. The week-long event is designed to raise the profile of the petroleum industry in Newfoundland and Labrador and the impact it has on the province’s economy.
