“Today’s funding announcement of approximately $1.5 million is part of our commitment to strengthening municipal infrastructure across the province. This investment will provide towns in the District of Exploits with enhanced services through lift station upgrades and improvements to water infrastructure.”
- The Honourable Dan Crummell, Minister of Municipal and Intergovernmental Affairs

The following is a breakdown of the $1.5 million investment:

  • $649,000 for an advanced drinking water system, paving in the Leamington Heights area and a lift station in the Town of Point Leamington,
  • $600,000 for the final phase of connecting the water infrastructure to the Exploits Regional System in the Town of Northern Arm, and
  • $211,000 for the upgrading of three lift stations in the Town of Bishop’s Falls.
