The following is being distributed at the request of the Advisory Panel on the Pan-Atlantic study of the impact of recent changes to Employment Insurance:

Public Advisory: EI Impacts Survey Participation Date Extended to January 18

The Advisory Panel on the Pan-Atlantic study of the impact of recent changes to Employment Insurance (Advisory Panel) is inviting the public and stakeholders to provide submissions that outline specific and concrete impacts they have experienced as a result of recent changes to Employment Insurance (EI). The deadline for participating in the survey has been extended to ensure that anyone who wants to participate has the opportunity to do so.

Members of the public are encouraged to provide information to the panel by participating in a telephone survey designed to capture information that will be used to assess the impacts of the changes. Registrations to participate in the survey will be accepted until January 18 by calling 1-855-681-8210 or by registering online at www.cap-cpma.ca

Public consultations are also taking place across the Atlantic Provinces during the month of January. Details on the sessions can be found at the Council of Atlantic Premiers' website: www.cap-cpma.ca
