The following is being distributed at the request of the Advisory Panel on the Pan-Atlantic study of the impact of recent changes to Employment Insurance:

Public Advisory: Public and Stakeholder Groups Encouraged to Provide Feedback on Employment Insurance Changes

The public and stakeholders are being invited to make submissions explaining how they have been affected by changes to Employment Insurance.

Stakeholders and affected organizations received invitations to participate in sessions last fall with representatives from the advisory panel, along with a reminder invitation this week. The general public may also request to appear at these sessions. In order to participate, individuals or groups must register for a session by emailing EIconsultation@gov.nl.ca on or before January 10, 2014.

Sessions are scheduled as follows:

L'Anse au Clair Northern Light Inn January 20 7:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Corner Brook Glynmill Inn January 21 7:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Grand Falls-Windsor Mount Peyton Hotel January 22 7:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

Written submissions will be accepted by mail or email until January 31, 2014.
