Media Advisory: Minister to Participate in Official Launch of National Police Week
The Honourable Terry French, Minister of Justice, will join the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police to officially launch National Police Week in the province on Monday, May 12. A cake-cutting ceremony will begin at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi School, 29 Outer Cove Road, Outer Cove.
The aim of National Police Week 2014, which runs from May 11 to 17, is to increase community awareness and recognize policing services while strengthening police-community ties.
