Media Advisory: Minister to Attend Police and Peace Officer Award Ceremony
The Honourable Felix Collins, Attorney General, will address the Crime Stoppers Police and Peace Officer of the Year Award Ceremony tomorrow (Friday, May 2). The event begins at 2:00 p.m. at the Manuels River Hibernia Interpretation Centre, 7 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Bay South.
The Crime Stoppers awards are presented each year to a member of the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary and a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police who have exhibited outstanding qualities that go above and beyond the call of duty. This year’s ceremony is expanded for the first time to also include an award for peace officers.
