Public Advisory: Fish and Wildlife Enforcement Officers Seek Public Assistance
On Tuesday, February 11, Fish and Wildlife Enforcement officers from the Roddickton detachment responded to a report that two dead moose had been discovered near the parking lot of the Transportation and Works depot in Ship Cove on the Northern Peninsula.
Upon arriving on the scene, officers noted that a cow and a calf appeared to have been illegally shot and left at the site. An investigation into this incident is underway and officers are asking anyone who has any information or who may have seen suspicious behaviour in that area on or around February 11, to please come forward.
