Media Advisory: Ministers to Participate in Flag Raising Ceremony

The Honourable Darin King, Minister of Justice, and the Honourable Steve Kent, Minister of Municipal and Intergovernmental Affairs, will participate in a flag raising ceremony tomorrow (Friday, February 7). Coinciding with the opening of the 2014 Winter Olympics, Minister King and Minister Kent will raise a rainbow flag as a sign of the Provincial Government’s continued support for human rights around the world regardless of sexual orientation.

The event will take place at 10:30 a.m. in front of Confederation Building, East Block.
