Business Development Investments Advance International Market Presence
Global Trade and Export Initiatives Supported with $31,500 in Funding
Thirteen Newfoundland and Labrador businesses are better able to take advantage of emerging international market opportunities as a result of Provincial Government funding totalling $31,500.

The Department of Innovation, Business and Rural Development assists companies in overcoming trade barriers in other jurisdictions and assists local businesses in their ability to explore emerging market opportunities through business-to-business trade shows and industry conferences. Trade missions have focused on strengthening and enhancing partnerships through face-to-face meetings with businesses, potential buyers and other strategic partners. Through sound fiscal management and responsible decisions, the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador is strengthening the business environment, encouraging the development of innovative industries and building a vibrant economy.
