Media Advisory: Minister to Announce Funding for Fisheries Science Project

The Honourable Vaughn Granter, Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture, will announce funding for a fisheries science project tomorrow (Wednesday, October 22). Minister Granter will be joined by Earle McCurdy, President, Fish, Food and Allied Workers Union, and Dr. Dominique Robert, Research Scientist, Centre for Fisheries Ecosystems Research, Fisheries and Marine Institute at Memorial University of Newfoundland.

The announcement will take place, 11:00 a.m., the large boardroom of the Petten Building, Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture, at 30 Strawberry Marsh Road in St. John’s.
