Media Advisory: All-Party Committee on Federal Shrimp Quota Allocations to Deliver Presentations in Ottawa
The Honourable Keith Hutchings, Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture and Chair of the all-party committee on federal shrimp quota allocations, will be joined by Dwight Ball, Leader of the Official Opposition, and Lorraine Michael, Leader of the New Democratic Party, to make presentations in Ottawa regarding the need to allocate shrimp quotas more equitably.
A presentation will be delivered to the House of Commons Standing Committee on Fisheries and Oceans today (Monday, May 5) at 3:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. A presentation will also be delivered to the Senate Standing Committee on Fisheries and Oceans tomorrow (Tuesday, May 6) at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
Members of the all-party committee will be available to the media outside the House of Assembly to discuss their engagement with these federal committees on Wednesday, May 7, at a time to be announced at a later date.
