Public Advisory: New Online Payment Options Available
The Department of Finance wishes to advise the public that effective today the following are available for online payment by debit or credit card:
- Teacher Certification Fees: collected by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development allowing teachers to pay in advance for an assessment to obtain certification;
- Building Accessibility Registration Fees: collected by the Department of Service NL allowing clients to pay in advance for Design Plans; and,
- Fire/Life Safety Registration Fees: collected by the Department of Service NL allowing clients to pay in advance for Design Plans.
The addition of these certification and registration fees builds on the growing list of online payment options available to the public. For a full list of online payment options, visit www.gov.nl.ca/pay-online.html.
Online payment options provide individuals and companies with a convenient, alternative, and user-friendly method of payment within a secure and reliable environment. Meanwhile, payments will continue to be accepted by mail and through over-the-counter service.
