Media Advisory: Minister to Attend National Conference Showcasing Arctic Opportunities
The Honourable Charlene Johnson, Minister of Finance and President of Treasury Board, will provide the keynote address at a conference luncheon at the 2014 Northern Lights conference in Ottawa. The luncheon will take place tomorrow (Saturday, February 1) at 12:00 p.m. on level 2 of the Ottawa Convention Centre.
Northern Lights is a business and cultural showcase, and a celebration of Canada's North and the Eastern Arctic, including the regions of Nunavut, Nunavik, and Labrador / Nunatsiavut. The event is a joint venture of the Labrador North Chamber of Commerce and the Baffin Regional Chamber of Commerce. The conference is being held January 29 to February 1 in Ottawa.
