Media Advisory: Premier to Speak at the MADD Project Red Ribbon Launch

The Honourable Paul Davis, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador will speak at the launch of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Project Red Ribbon on Monday, December 8. Premier Davis will be joined by the Honourable Tony Cornect, Minister of Service NL.

Project Red Ribbon was created in 1986 to heighten public attention surrounding drinking and driving during the holiday season. The program is designed to encourage the public to become actively involved in the fight against drunk driving by tying a red ribbon to a visible place on their vehicle such as the antenna or side mirror.

The event will take place in the main lobby of the Confederation Building, East Block, and will begin at 10:00 a.m.
