Media Advisory: Premier to Attend Launch of Poppy Campaign

The Honourable Paul Davis, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will join veterans and members of the armed forces for the Fly the Flag of Remembrance ceremony to launch the 2014 Poppy Campaign. The event is taking place in the lobby of East Block Confederation Building, tomorrow (Friday, October 31) at 12:00 p.m.

The poppy campaign officially runs from October 31 to November 11. Veterans, volunteers and Legion members will be distributing poppies across the province in exchange for a charitable donation to the Royal Canadian Legion.
