Media Advisory: Premier to Speak at Screening of the Season Premiere of Republic of Doyle

The Honourable Paul Davis, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will bring remarks at the screening of the season premiere of Republic of Doyle at 8:00 p.m. tonight (Wednesday, October 8). The event will take place at the St. John’s Convention Centre. The Honourable Darin King, Minister of Business, Tourism, Culture and Rural Development, will also attend the event.

In its sixth and final season, Republic of Doyle will begin airing on CBC television on October 15, at 9:00 p.m. in most of Labrador, 9:30 p.m. in Newfoundland. Additional information on Republic of Doyle can be found at: www.cbc.ca/republicofdoyle
